A fair trade
As I have purchased items for my shop through the years, once in a while my partner will see a piece and commandeer it. Luckily, he knows what he's doing in the kitchen, so I really don't have anything to lose.
A while back, I got some good deals on the Corning Ware P-4-B, 1-1/2 Quart rectangular casseroles and he immediately took them for his use in the kitchen. One had a cover and we have used them off and on for reheating a large portion of leftovers. But, the other day, I was sure glad to hear him in the kitchen, rattling those pots and pans, and using my grandmother's 1940-era Pyrex Primary Colors mixing bowls. And the net result was TWO delicious banana bread loaves!
Being the generous person he is, he gave one loaf to our good neighbors across the street, but at least we kept one for ourselves and boy, it was the best tasting bread yet! And-we got three more half-black bananas ready for round two any day now!
