More wonderful vintage kitchen and dining items being added this week!

This is where you can find out how to care for your vintage item as well as other important information.

  • Care Instructions

Please hand wash your vintage items. Dishwashers scrub away the paint, decals, and designs on these old glasses and dishes.  Sometimes a Corning Ware or glass dishes like Pyrex and Glasbake will just need a good soaking before a scrubbing.  Be sure to use a gentle cleaner - try a dishwashing liquid like Palmolive or Ivory first.  Be sure you don't use a scouring powder like Ajax or Comet or a metal scrubber like steel wool or Brillo pads!  Plastic scrubbies are okay!

  • Where can I find out more about Pyrex?
There is a set of books that I use for most of my Pyrex information.  They are Pyrex Passion and Pyrex Passion II.  You can find out more about the books here and you can find a list of Pyrex patterns with pictures here.

  • Where can I find out more about Corning Ware?
I get just about all my Corning Ware information from the site.  Shane Wingerd has amassed a LOT of useful information about Corning Ware, such as patterns and back stamps.
