CoxRetros on Etsy

Your source on Etsy for quality vintage cookware. We specialize in Pyrex from the early days of their white opal glass in the 1940s to the 1990s, as well as Corelle, Corning Ware, Fire King, Libbey glassware, and more.

Cook, bake, and serve with confidence!

This Wordpress site is still under construction, but you can head right over to the CoxRetros shop on Etsy here.

The shop is currently on vacation until late-March while we shop up and down the Atlantic Coast and along the Coast of the Gulf of Mexico, buying lots of great Pyrex pieces, as well as some Fire King and Corelle.
Stay tuned for updates!

Shop with confidence

We have a 5-star rating in our Etsy shop. We offer safe shipping, fair rates, and quality customer service.

Check out our Etsy reviews here!

Fair Shipping

We ship via the United States Postal Service and charge you only what it costs. We don’t hide shipping fees in the price of the items, so you will pay the actual cost whether you are in New England or California. We also combine when possible, to save you money on fees.

Safe Transport

We pack our glassware well with plenty of large-bubble bubble wrap and packing paper. We reuse shipping materials when we can, and all of the orders are insured. We pay the extra if the value is over the basic $100 covered by the USPS.

Pyrex

CoxRetros specializes in the iconic white opal glass Pyrex that was first available to consumers in the 1940s until the end of production in the mid-1980s. We also carry later clear glass Pyrex pieces, like colored mixing bowls, casserole dishes, and roasting & baking pans.

Corelle

Our focus is on the first patterns of Corelle, first sold in 1970: Winter Frost White, Butterfly Gold, Spring Blossom Green, and Old Town Blue, sold in 1972. Other patterns from the 1970s can be found here, along with select patterns from the 1980s and 1990s. We carry Centura pieces, too, sometimes!

Corning Ware

The traditional Blue Cornflower is a popular seller and we have lots of it. From the small “Petite Pans” to the 5-quart casseroles, we have what you need. We love to find unique items, too!

The first pieces.

The first night in our journey was spent at a Sam’s Club in New York (after which we saw that sign that said “No Overnight Parking”!), but the second night was spent in the perfectly level parking lot of one of our favorite antique malls in Pennsylvania. The Fayetteville Antique Mall is a group of…

Back to the States

We’ll be shopping some more as we work our way back up north to Maine. Stay tuned for the opening of the shop before we arrive, so you can start buying and I’ll ship when we get back! We’ll be shopping some more as we work our way back up north to Maine. Stay tuned…

Americana Blue

CoxRetros is on vacation right now, though it’s a bit of a work vacation because we are shopping almost every other day and have found some great pieces, including this Pyrex mixing bowl, #403, from their Multi-Tone Blue (a.k.a. Americana Blue) from 1967 to 1969. I’ve seen it in the Pyrex Passion book, but never…
